Schwenksville Woman Arrested for DUI after Crash

Woman sustained minor injuries in one-car accident on Route 73

Jennifer Madeira, 22, of Schwenksville, was arrested on July 22, in Worcester Township, for suspected DUI after her car collided with a guard rail, according to a  report.

Madeira was driving her 2002 Ford Escape west on Skippack Pike just after 1 a.m. when she looked away from the road and lost control, hitting a guard rail on the right side of the road, according to the report.

Madeira was transported to Mercy Suburban Hospital for minor injuries, and was taken into custody for suspected DUI, according to the report. Charges will be filed in district court.

Skippack EMS, Worcester Fire Department and Worcester Fire Police assisted at the scene. Madeira’s vehicle was removed by Kelly’s Towing.
