Royersford Man Arrested for Trappe Burglary

A Trappe woman was reportedly injured in the incident; the accused faces multiple charges.

 

Ezra Jarious Bearden, of Royersford,  faces several charges after allegedly breaking into a woman's residence on West 7th Ave in Trappe early Sunday morning, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Bearden, 30, is accused of breaking a front door window in an attempt to gain access the home at 1:12 a.m. on Oct. 21, police said.

The victim, 47, reportedly cut her right hand during the incident and required medical treatment.

Bearden was charged with burglary, simple assault, loitering and prowling at night time, criminal mischief and public drunkenness, according to police.

After being housed at the Pottstown Police Department overnight, Bearden was arraigned by District Justice Cathleen Kelly Rebar later Sunday morning.
