Driver charged with reckless driving

An 18-year-old man was injured late Tuesday night after he fell from the hood of a vehicle, which then ran him over and trapped him underneath it.

Pennsylvania State Police said Sean Hendershot fell from the hood of a 2005 Chevy Cavalier while it was in motion on Legat Lane in Skippack Township. After falling from the hood, Hendershot was run over by the front driver side wheel of the car, which was driven by 19-year-old Gregory Leflar of Collegeville.

Hendershot was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital by medical helicopter with what the police described as "non-life-threatening injuries."
