Report: Dump Truck Fire on Skippack Pike

A fire reportedly destroyed a dump truck on Skippack Pike near the intersection of Cross Road on Tuesday morning.

WPVI-TV reported that the driver escaped safely from the truck and that nobody was hurt.

The location is close to the construction entrance for ongoing work at the State Correctional Institution at Graterford, but it wasn't clear whether the truck was involved with that work.
