PSP: Two Hit-and-Run Crashes Reported

Vehicles crashed in Upper Hanover and Lower Frederick Townships.

 

Two hit-and-run crashes were reported in Lower Frederick and Upper Hanover Townships between Dec. 28 and Dec. 30, according to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP).

An unknown sedan crashed into a GMC Sierra truck on Rt. 29 near Old Gravel Pike in Lower Frederick Township at 6:15 a.m. on Dec. 28, according to police.

The truck, driven by Joseph Gimber of Schwenksville, was traveling north on Rt. 29 near Old Gravel Pike when the unknown sedan, traveling south, moved into the northbound lane and forced Gimber to crash into the guide rail, police said.

The driver of the sedan did not stop, according to the PSP, and fled the scene going south on Rt. 29.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the PSP Skippack at 610-584-1250 and reference incident No. K03-1894128.

Upper Hanover Crash

At 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 30, police say that an unknown vehicle drove into a brick-sided flowerbed at the entrance of Macoby Run Park on East 11th Street in Upper Hanover Township.

Police say that the vehicle fled in an unknown direction, and did not report the incident.
