PSP Investigating Possible Child Luring Incident In Skippack

Police stated that an 8-year-old boy reported that while he was playing baseball along the side of his home, a man approached him in an orange colored vehicle -- possibly a late model Dodge Charger.

The Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating a possible child luring incident in Skippack, which occurred on August 2.

According to an email sent from the Perkiomen Valley School District, police responded to a report of a possible attempted child luring on Reginald Lane in Skippack. Police stated that an 8-year-old boy reported that while he was playing baseball along the side of his home, a man approached him in an orange colored vehicle -- possibly a late model Dodge Charger.

The driver of the vehicle, who is described as a white male in his 50's or 60's with long, grey hair, yelled to the boy "Hey bud, can you come over here and help me find something?", at which point the boy fled to the rear of his residence and told his mother what had happened.

The vehicle then left the area, but not before two other witnesses in the neighborhood reported seeing the same vehicle, with both giving similar descriptions of the driver.
