Police Release Surveillance Photo of Bank Robber

The man robbed a Wells Fargo in Upper Hanover Township.

The Pennsylvania State Police released surveillance photos of a June 3 robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank on Gravel Pike in Upper Hanover Township Wednesday morning, in hopes the public may recognize the robber.

According to police, an unknown black man entered the bank, located at 628 Gravel Pike, around 9:09 a.m. and approached two bank tellers, demanding money. The tellers complied, police say.

The suspect, described as wearing a teal sweatshirt with the hood over his head, blue jeans and tan boots, left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and walked towards the Walmart Supercenter at 620 Gravel Pike, police said, and he then fled the area in an unknown direction.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at 610-584-1250.
