Police Investigate Attempted Arson in Perkiomen Park
A fire was set at the Central Perkiomen Park on Plank Road.
The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an attempted arson at the Central Perkiomen Valley Park, located on Plank Road in Perkiomen Township.
Between Aug. 27 at 9 p.m. and Aug. 28 at 6 a.m., unknown individuals entered the park and poured an unidentified gasoline accelerant from the sidewalk near the public restroom leading to the woman’s restroom building, according to police.
The accelerant was then lit, causing char markings to the bottom side of the building, police said.
