Perkiomen Police, Fire & EMS Stats: September

Pennsylvania State Police reported 104 incidents, Perkiomen Township Fire Co. responded to 14 incidents, and there were 43 ambulance requests in September.

 

Perkiomen Township officials released the police, fire and ambulance statistics for the month of September, which included 104 Pennsylvania State Police calls, 14 incidents involving the Perkiomen Township Fire Company, and 43 ambulance requests from the Lower Frederick Regional Ambulance Corps and Trappe Fire and EMS Company

Pennsylvania State Police
Pennsylvania State Police reported nine thefts in Perkiomen Township throughout the month of September - two fraud, three thefts from motor vehicles, one each of theft from a construction site, theft of scrap metal, and theft by unlawful taking.

There were reports of one residential burglary and one commercial burglary, as well as one suspicious persons and three assaults.

Police also reported 10 disturbances and 6 domestic incidents throughout the township, as well as one drug possession, one attempted suicide, one liquor law license violation and one underage consumption of liquor charge.

Perkiomen Township Fire Company
Perkiomen Township Fire Marshal John T. Moran, Sr., reported 14 incidents in the month of September.

Moran stated that there was a $3,400 fire loss reported in the Township.

Ambulance Calls
Trappe Fire Company Ambulance stated that there were 35 total dispatches to Perkiomen - 31 from the Trappe Station, four from the Limerick station.

The report indicated that the average arrival time was 7.6 minutes, compared to the average 6.7 for all calls.

The Lower Frederick Fire Regional Ambulance Corps was dispatched to Perkiomen Township eight times in September, and three incidents were at Highland manor.
