No Injuries in Truck vs. School Bus Crash

No word yet on what caused the crash

According to a report, no one was injured when a Nissan truck rear-ended a school bus at the intersection of Betcher and Trappe road in Trappe Borough at 7:30 a.m. Friday, March 30.

Neither vehicle was damaged, the report states.

The children on board the bus "were transferred to another bus and taken to school," according to a report by NBC10.

Perkiomen Valley School District Director of Communications Jessica Lester stated in an e-mail that "as a precaution all Perkiomen Valley High School and Middle School East students who were on the bus at the time of the accident were checked by the school nurse.
"Bus 76 also serves South but it wasn’t transporting those children at that time. We notified parents of students who take that bus about the accident through our email alert system."
