Late-Night Blaze Injures One in Lower Providence

A shed used to store lawn equipment apparently caught fire.

A storage shed at a Lower Providence home caught fire Tuesday night, spreading to the home and injuring at least one person, multiple media outlets are reporting. 

The blaze at the corner of Lawrence and Buckwater roads can be seen in this CBS Philly video.

A neighbor told The Times Herald that the shed was used to store lawn equipment, and that a series of explosions could be heard as the fire burned.

The Lower Providence Fire Department and Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company responded, The Times Herald said, and the fire took about an hour to extinguish.
