'Good Samaritan' Robbed at Gunpoint

An Eagleville man who offered to give three men a ride home from a West Norriton bar was allegedly robbed by his passengers at gunpoint.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a 28-year-old Eagleville man was robbed at gunpoint by three men who he was giving a ride home from a local bar.

According to reports, on Saturday, Dec. 22 at approximately 3:10 p.m. the victim left Tony G's South Philly Pub & Eatery in Jeffersonville with three men who he agreed to drive home.

While driving the men home, one suspect allegedly pulled out a silver semi-automatic gun and demanded money and drugs from the driver. The victim reportedly stopped the car and the men moved him to the back seat of the vehicle.

The men continued driving with one suspect behind the wheel. During the incident, a second suspect also allegedly pulled out a gun and hit the victim twice in the face with it. While the car was stopped, the victim was able to free himself from the car and flee to a neighboring home for help.

There are many good people living in Norristown, East Norriton, and West Norriton. There is a criminal element in these areas, as well as, in most areas in our vicinity, the state, and the country. Drugs are a major factor in these crimes. I'd never condone drug dealing, but many of the jobs are paying $8.00 per hour even for those who have completed high school. Employers use temporary agencies to screen and hire employees. They use the employees up, then toss them away. No benefits, no future. TRASH is everywhere and comes in many different colors. Takes trash to know trash. And I don't buy that 'Good Samaritan' story. The samaritan was either drunk out of his mind or was looking for some ... trash.
