Fire Damages Meadow Glen Home in Skippack

The fire ripped through an unfinished home on Cooper Drive.

 

Several firefighters showed signs of head exhaustion after fighting a fire on Cooper Drive in Skippack Township that damaged an unfinished home, its garage, and a van, according to the Reporter.

The home, in Toll Brothers’ Meadow Glen at Skippack development, was still under construction. According to Skippack Fire Chief Haydn Marriott IV, the fire started in the van, but no one knows why yet.

Trappe, Perkiomen, Harleysville, Spring Mount and Towamencin Fire Companies also responded to the scene; at least six of those fighting the fire showed signs of heat exhaustion, according to WNPV.
