Collegeville Man Arrested for Having Sex With Limerick Boy: Police

A Collegeville man is facing a variety of felonies for allegedly having sex with a 14-Limerick year-old boy after posing as a mentor for gay teens online

Matthew Donald Krapf, 43, was charged with statutory sexual assault, aggravated assault, corruption of minors and related charges after a Montgomery County Detective posed electronically as the teen victim and Krapf allegedly drove to Limerick to meet him.

According to the Pottstown Mercury, Krapf met homosexual teens on the website phone app “Jacked” and allegedly had sex with the victim, who he knew was a minor, at least five times beginning in May of 2013.

Krapf allegedly exchanged explicit photos and videos with the victim; another minor boy was seen in one of the videos, police said.

On Oct. 31, the Montgomery County Detective posed as the victim, setting up a time to meet with Krapf on Nov. 2, police said.

Police followed Krapf as he left his Collegeville home to drive to Limerick; he was arrested upon arriving at the victim’s home.

Krapf is currently in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, unable to post $1 million bail.
