Collegeville Fire Co. Sends Hero's Run Proceeds to Fire Victims

The Collegeville Fire Co. announced Tuesday that $1,000 checks were sent to the West, Texas Volunteer Fire Co. and the Granite Mountain Hot Shots of the Prescott, Ariz. Fire Dept., both of which suffered devastating fires over the summer.

The money was raised through Collegeville Fire Co.’s Hero Run 5K, which was held on Oct. 20, and included a celebration of heroes, featuring various vehicles and equipment on display that are used to keep residents safe.

“Each of these organizations experienced tragic losses earlier this year, and we hope these contributions will somehow help the families of those that were lost,” said a statement from the Collegeville Fire Co.
