Child Porn Charges Filed Against Former School Custodian from Harleysville

Andrew Michael Borneman, 21, of Windsor Drive, Harleysville, allegedly downloaded videos and images of child pornography, police said. He worked as a custodian at Vernfield and E.M. Crouthamel elementary schools.

A 21-year-old Lower Salford man, who was formerly employed as a custodian at an elementary school in Souderton Area School District, has been arraigned on three felony charges related to possession and dissemination of child pornography,per The Reporter.

Andrew Michael Borneman, of the 300 block of Windsor Drive, Harleysville, is charged with one felony count of possession of child pornography, one felony count of dissemination of child pornography and one felony count of criminal use of a communication facility, according to court records.

Borneman allegedly downloaded and shared video and images of underage children in sex acts, per the article. 

Borneman worked in the evenings and weekends as a custodian at E.M. Crouthamel Elementary and Vernfield Elementary since 2009. He was suspended without pay and banned from school properties in August 2013, per the report.

Investigators determined Borneman's IP address was used to email a video of child pornography in July. Borneman allegedly admitted to downloading a video of a young girl exposing herself and emailed it to himself to watch later, per the article.
Additional child pornography images were allegedly found on Borneman's computer, per the report.
