Burglary Suspect Sought

Wanted in connection with Worcester break-in Tuesday

Pennsylvania State Police are looking for an unidentified man and a possible accomplice in connection with a Tuesday burglary in Worcester Township.

The burglary occurred at about 10:20 a.m. at 1301 Dell Road, off Valley Forge Road. Police said the suspect or suspects forced their way into the residence through a back door.

According to police, about 20 minutes earlier, a homeowner on Horseshoe Drive, just over a mile from the burglary scene, called police to report that two "suspicious" black males had come to his residence. The homeowner told police one of the men rang his doorbell before departing in a silver car, possibly a 1992 Buick LeSabre. Another man wearing a red hat was seen in the passenger seat. The men reportedly departed southbound on Valley Forge Road towards Germantown Pike.

The suspect who rang the homeowner's bell is described as a black male, about 30 years old, 5' 10", of regular build, wearing black shorts and a white t-shirt. According to the homeowner, his hair appeared to be thinning.

Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Barry Bertolet at 610-410-7844 and reference incident number K03-1855551.

Wonder what the policy is when the family doesn't want to shell-out a few hundred dollars for aRead More ring. Sounds to me like a nice kick-back to the school from the lucky vender who supplies the rings.
