Annual Brad Fox Memorial Hockey Game Happening Saturday

The Blueliners Blue and the Blueliners White will face off at 7:15 p.m. in Oaks, after a family and friends skate.

On Saturday, area police officers will participate in a charity hockey game to honor fallen police officer Bradley Fox, of Gilbertsville.

Fox, a Plymouth Township police officer killed in September 2012, played ice hockey in high school and the Blueliners.  After his death, many local police officers began playing the sport, and a second Blueliners team was created.

“What better way to celebrate the memory of our fallen brother then to divide the C1 Blueliners and C3 Blueliners roster and battle it out on the ice,” according to organizers.

A family and friends skate will occur from 5:45-6:45 p.m., and the game begins at 7:15 p.m.  Tickets for the evening are $5 per person.

Oaks Center Ice is located at 100 Pennco Road in Oaks. For more information, click here.
