Alleged Collegeville Shooter and Malvern Murder Victim Exchanged Threats
Merritt Dudas, of Collegeville, is accused of killing former friend Drew Ferguson.
Information continues to come out about the shooting of 21-year-old Malvern resident Drew Ferguson, allegedly by Merritt Dudas, who was found by police at the Collegeville residence of his girlfriend, where he had been living.
Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan told Patch Wednesday that Ferguson and 24-year-old Dudas had exchanged threats back and forth via cell phone in the days leading up to Ferguson's shooting.
This information supports the DA's earlier statement that the shooting was not a random killing.

Police arrested Dudas on Tuesday. He is charged with murder in the first degree and is alleged to have shot Ferguson in the detached garage of his Miner Street home. Dudas will appear before court on Nov 27.
