PVHS 2 Hour delay & discipline

I am curious as to how many students attending PVHS were marked late and referred for discipline today regardless of the two hour delay.

Further why was the timing flashing safety lights out front not adjusted to coincide with the late start?  In leaving the school after dropping off my child I was witness to a speeding vehicle passing a cement truck in a no passing zone directly in front of PVHS.  

Odd how the parents of the students must accommodate the school in these situations to avoid punishment but the school can ignore state law and school board policy in providing safety measures for it students and the public at large traveling near the campus.

Curious, as the safety and well being of the students and their means of transport to the school seemingly takes a back seat to discriminatory discipline.
