Say "I Do" at the Zoo

If you're looking for a unique place to have your wedding, a party, or a Mitzvah, you'll want to check out the Elmwood Park Zoo. The perfect way to do this is at the June 1, 2014 showcase from 6 PM to 8 PM after the zoo has closed.  We're going to be featuring fun, food, and festivities.

The zoo's catering department will be showing off delicious foods for you to sample.  You'll be welcomed with champagne cocktails from Frank's Wine Mart and can then choose wine, beer, or soft drinks at the bar.  You'll have an array of desserts and a gorgeous cake to taste from The Master's Baker.  Exquisite chocolates will be available form Sweet Ashley's Chocolate too.

Whimsical Welcomes Floral Design will be showing off 9 tables of flowers plus a decorated ceremony area for brides to check out.  Beautiful rental linens will be presented by Gala Cloths for the tables as well as lighting from Silver Sound.

You'll be entertained, of course, as everyone will have access to the zoo's grounds. You couldn't possibly be hungry, but popcorn will be available around the zoo.  Steve Croce from Silver Sound will be our DJ.  Dancers from Society Hill Dance Academy will be dazzling you with their steps.  Sit and listen to the superb live music of Pete Smyser  and visit our comedy musician - Chris Capehart.  You can also watch our event painter Andrea Greenlee paint our event at the zoo.  She has generously offered this one of kind painting to the zoo to auction off to raise money.

Plus you'll be able to visit with some exceptional wedding/party professionals.  Ron Dlutz's beautiful photography is featured on our gorgeous invitation designed by Silverbox Creative Studios.  Bags will be given to every guest to collect information generously donated by Geiger Mall promotions. Visit Rose Tree Films to see samples of their fabulous videography skills.  Our officiant from Meaningful Milestones,  our event/wedding planner Wendy Hartigan, and our personal trainer Steve Massimini will be happy to answer any questions you may have.  Need a place for your guests to stay?  The people from the Plymouth Meeting Hampton Inn will be happy to talk to you.  And finally, if you'd like to have a photo booth for your event at the zoo - they rent one.
