Getting to Know Cut Flowers - Asters

Asters come in a wide variety of colors - usually with a yellow center. There are many domesticated sizes and shapes as well as the "wild asters" that you see growing by the road in purple and white.  They often look like little stars - and were named such because Aster means star in Latin.
