Personalizing Your Wedding

One of the ways to make your wedding memorable, is to add personal touches through decor and flowers.  This bride and groom were both studying hard in medical school at the time of their wedding.  Thus, the medical theme took on a life of its own.  First, the color palette of red,yellow, and blue was chosen. Red and yellow flowers were used in both the brides and bridesmaids' bouquets.  And then the fun started.   If you look closely at the centerpiece photos you'll notice that the tables are named after diseases and germs!  Who knew that there were plush representations of diseases?  And inside the vases themselves were stones that the bride had collected over the years.  On the placecard table, but not in the photo, sat the sign-in book. But in this case, I suggested that a prescription pad be used with pens from various drug companies. Sales reps are always giving them out to doctors.   And i used test tubes in metal holder for the cocktail tables.  Worked perfectly for a pair of doctors!
