Orange weddings: Are you bold enough to use orange at yours?

Orange is a power color. It stimulates enthusiasm and creativity. It's the perfect color for a couple who want to spice things up at their wedding.

Shades of orange are among the current most popular wedding colors:  peach, coral, tangerine, salmon, apricto, bittersweet, and burnt orange included.  Most of these shades can be found in carnations and roses, but other flowers are "catching up" to the trend.  You'll now see orange cockscomb and hypericum berries among wedding flowers. You can also find shades of orange in stock, gerber daisies, snapdragons, freesia, zinnias, dahlias, tulips, mums, Asian lilies, mokara orchids, and alstromeria.  However all flowers do not come in all shades of orange. Ask your florist for specifics.

Orange can be paired with several other colors for a wedding.  Combinations could include hot pink and orange; lemon yellow, lime green, and orange; purple and orange; coral. marine blue, and white; peach, pale green, and white; and I've even done a bright blue and orange wedding.  Enjoy some photos of examples and feel free to ask questions at WhimsicalWelcomes.com
