Former Green Lane Man with 21 Summary Warrants apprehended by Douglass Township State Constable

Former Green Lane Man with 21 Warrants apprehended

A police report does not indicate a conviction. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty. All information provided is considered public knowledge available under the Open Records Act in Pennsylvania.

On Thursday, November 1st, 2012, Nicholas H Volk, who was being sought for having twenty-one Summary warrants throughout Montgomery, Bucks, and Lehigh counties, was tracked down by Pennsylvania State Constable Joshua Z Stouch and taken into custody. Volk, a former Green Lane resident, was located after a four month search of the area. The warrants, issued out of District Courts 38-2-03, 38-1-19, 38-1-24, 38-2-02, 38-1-21, and 38-1-01, were for alleged traffic violations ranging from 2004 thru 2012, most of which were issued for failing to pay fines and costs. Volk was arraigned before three seperate Montgomery County District Justices and released after posting over $3,000.

Of the twenty-one warrants, eighteen of them were from Montgomery County, which, after research, is believed to be the third highest amount of Summary warrants in the county attached to any one wanted person.
