Santa Coming to Perk Valley Saturday [UPDATE]

Thanks to local fire companies, Santa Claus is coming to town.

Keep an eye out for Santa on Saturday morning, as he’s driven through the streets by local fire companies.

At 8 a.m., the Collegeville Fire Co. will drive Santa around the borough. Parents can drop off gifts to be delivered to children at the Collegeville Borough Hall between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. through Friday. The name and address of each child must be included with the gift.

"Keep an eye/ear out for [Santa]," said the Collegeville Fire Co. on Facebook.  "If you've been good this year that is!"

Santa’s trek will begin at 9 a.m. with the Trappe Fire Co., and he will visit all of Trappe and part of Upper Providence. He will give sweet treats to children who come out to see him.

“So make sure the kids listen for the sirens and come out to greet Santa and his elves to get a sweet treat,” said Trappe Fire Co. on Facebook.

Santa will get a later start in Perkiomen Township, beginning at 10 a.m.  According to Perkiomen Township Fire Co., Santa will give out candy canes to children in the township. No times of arrival to neighborhoods or streets are given.

Schwenksville Fire Co. will also tour Santa around Saturday morning.

Listen for sirens and air horns as a warning that the Jolly One is on his way.
