The Friends of Pennypacker Mills held a craft marketplace on Sept. 22 on the Pennypacker Mills grounds, featuring 30 unique booths with hand-crafted items. Wares included jewelry, scroll saw ornaments, childrens clothes, doll clothes, hand-thrown pottery, turned wood, quill work, brooms, photo on tiles, polymer clay, handbags, clutche and clutches.

All proceeds from the marketplace went go toward the restoration of the kitchen and servant area recently acquired by Pennypacker Mills.

We all had a great time and a great turnout. Next year's show will be even better thanks to comments and suggestions of those who attended. And what a great cause - Pennypacker Mills! Much thanks to the Patch who were instrumental in getting the word out about our group and our cause.
