Holiday Candlelight Tour in Trappe

Start the Holiday Season by visiting the Holiday Candlelight Tour at The Henry Muhlenberg House. This annual event is sponsored by The Historical Society of Trappe, Collegeville, Perkiomen Valley. On Sunday, December 2nd, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M, tour guides will welcome the community to this historic site to depict a Muhlenberg family Christmas.

Tours will begin at the Visitors Center where cider mulled at an outdoor fire (weather permitting) and light refreshments will be served in the festive surroundings of our Gift Shop where unique holiday gifts are　offered. A candlelit path will lead visitors to The Henry Muhlenberg House where they will step back in history and hear tales of this Revolutionary War era family.

The Henry Muhlenberg House is located at 201 W. Main Street in Trappe, across from St Luke’s Church where parking is available . A donation of $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under age 12 will help to defray costs. Reservations are not required. For information call 610-489-7560 or visit www.trappehistoricalsociety.org
