AARP Driver Safety Refresher Course

The AARP Driver Safety Refresher Course will be offered at The Center at The Open Link on Friday, July 11th from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. Taught by an AARP representative, Les Duman, this 4-hour refresher course is intended for participants who have completed an AARP, AAA, or NSC Driver Safety program within the last 36 months.

AARP Driver Safety program is the nation's first and largest classroom refresher course designed especially for drivers ages 50 and older. Participants can learn defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws, and rules of the road. Through interactive learning, participants can find out how to safely adjust their driving to compensate for the age-related changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time.

Registration is required as space is limited. Fees are $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Participants should bring a check made payable to AARP. To register, please call The Center at 215.679.6550 or email centermanager@theopenlink.org.
