It's Time to Deck The House

Get your Clark Griswold on: You could win $100,000 for your school district.

Patch has launched a nationwide contest to find the best-dressed home in the country. The winner’s school district will receive $100,000, no strings attached. None. Here are the details:

Beginning on Nov. 26 and continuing through Dec. 16, you can nominate your home by uploading a photo to the contest website. During that same time period you and your neighbors will also be able to vote for your favorite festive home.

One house per Patch will be chosen—by you!—as the winner in your Patch. Of these best and brightest, our judges will select 24 finalists from Patch communities shining all over the country. Each finalist will receive $500 that they can apply to their December electric bill.

. This year's winner will come from somewhere. Maybe your town.

So, get out your lights and ladders (and your competitive spirit)! Whether your style is sophisticated or silly, we want you to dress up your house in the name of good cheer and our kids.

I have been sad that the Collegeville "Christmas House" on Glen Farms Rd. in Collegeville seems to be experiencing technical difficulties. That house has brought so many local families such pleasure. I hope they get "fixed" and submit their house to this contest. They should win!

I agree! The technical difficulties must be resolved, I drove by there last night and tonight - it was awesome!
