We are collecting blankets, sheets, towels, wash cloths, ect... for the residents of Staten Island, NY. Please read.

A Fellow Golden Rule Funeral Home needs our help! The community around John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals in Staten Island, NY has been decimated. The Funeral Home facility is providing warm shelter and hot food for many. They are in need of blankets, sheets, towels, wash cloths, ect... Please drop off gently used or new items to the Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler anytime before Friday, November 9th. Thank you for your generosity.

Unfortunately I could not get to you guys yesterday due to work. Is the drop off finished? Do you know of any other places accepting winter clothing, coats, blankets?

A trailer and SUV loaded with water, bedding, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and clothing was delivered Tuesday, November 13, 2012. The Staten Island Community and the Urban Funeral Home thanks you for your heartfelt generosity.
