Schwenksville Bank Teaming with Perkiomenville SPCA for Holiday Collection

Items for pets will be collected at Ambler Savings Bank through Dec. 20.

Ambler Savings Bank, at 395 Main Street in Schwenksville, is collecting items for pets at the Perkiomenville SPCA during the holiday season.

A box has been placed in the bank's lobby to collect wet and dry food, as well as treats for dogs and cats who will be in the shelter over the holiday.  Items will be collected through Dec. 20.

“My pets are my four-legged, furry family,” said Bonnie Eckenrode, branch manager of Ambler Savings Bank in Schwenksville. “We wanted to reach out and help our community this holiday season and we are all very fond of animals here at the branch. What better way to do both than by collecting food and treats for the SPCA and the animals still looking for their ‘forever homes.’”
