Bodies by Pilates, with a location in Phoenixville, has opened a location in Creamery Village.

With classes leveled from beginners to advanced, the newest Pilates studio in Skippack is Bodies by Pilates.

Deb Lemon, the owner of the new Pilates studio, is a PMA Pilates Method Alliance Certified instructor and the studio is a Peak Pilates instructor training center.

The studio, which has been outfitted in state of the art equipment, with five chairs and eight reformers, and additional equipment for individual needs and instruction. Bodies by Pilates offers  group classes and private instruction.

She continued that Pilates is for everyone and said she has clients as young as 14 and as old at 74 and everyone in between, including male clients.

"We don't compare ourselves to any gym," said Lemon.

The Skippack location can run two classes at once, a bigger studio than the Phoenixville location. However, clients can use both studios, with 70 classes per week to choose from between the two studios.

Lemon said classes are offered beginning at 6 a.m., morning, afternoon, later into the evenings, and even on Saturday and Sundays.

Bodies by Pilates offers free demo classes on Tuesday nights at 7:15 p.m. that are open to everyone. Lemon told Patch that during the demo class, she teaches information about Pilates, and what it can do for your body, and then test the equipment with different exercises.

The Skippack studio is Lemon's second studio. She opened a Phoenixville location approximately two and a half years ago. Lemon told Patch that she was originally looking at locations in Skippack for her first studio, but found a perfect location in Phoenixville.

She continued that as soon as she saw the Skippack location, she knew it would be her second studio.

Lemon said everything can be done online, including registering and paying for classes, as well as signing up for demo classes.

Lemon told Patch that she is a fan of all exercise, "but Pilates is my passion. …I'd give up other things but I won't give this up," said Lemon.
