Why Go: Enjoy classic movies at the library, with free popcorn and drinks. Bring your own chair to lounge in. Check the library’s website for the movie of the week.

Where/When: PV Middle School East, 100 Kagey Road, Collegeville; July 15-16, 8 to 10 p.m.

Why go: Methacton Community Theater presents Roald Dahl’s timeless story of Willy Wonka and his search for an heir to his chocolate empire.

Pricing: Adults 12 and over, $15; children under 12 and seniors 62 and up, $10

Where/When: 2290 Autumn Hill Lane, Lafayette Hill; July 16, 5 to 11 p.m.

Why go: Montgomery County Young Democrats will be grilling, playing tailgating games and meeting local candidates.

Pricing: $10

Where/When: Leaves from Craft Ale House, 708 W. Ridge Pike, Royersford; July 17, noon to 4 p.m.

Why go: This tour includes the new Appalachian Brewing Co., Sly Fox Brewing and Weak Knee Brewing Supply store for home brew samples and a quick demo to help you get started brewing your own beer.

Where/When: A. C. Moore Arts and Crafts, 1824 E. Ridge Pike, Royersford; July 20, 3 to 5 p.m.

Why go: A.C. Moore hosts free Make & Take Arts and Crafts for children 2 to 12. On July 20, kids can make Blumenthal Button Bookworm Bookmarks.
