Patriotic Order Sons of American Donate New Flag for PVHS Stadium

The patriotic group is one of America's oldest patriotic and fraternal societies.

The Patriotic Order Sons of America, Washington Camp 387, donated a new American flag at Perkiomen Valley High School’s Thomas J. Keenan football stadium in September.

One of America’s oldest and patriotic and fraternal societies still in existence, the group promotes patriotism in Americans. Washington Camp 387 is located in the second floor of the Ambler Savings Bank in Schwenksville.

Many veterans attended the ceremony, including Robert Albright, Darren Clossin, Kenneth Conrad, Dave McQuirms, Shawn Conrad, Mike Frederick, Ernie Culp, Peter Giacomucci, Donald Dillon, Gary Hacker, Robert Geiger, Reed Hacker, Michael Hess , Gerry Long, Robert Kerr Sr., John Markley, Earl Stahl, Harry Phillips, John Strong, Peter Phillips, William Stone, Bob Messersmit, Henry Hunsberger, Dick Fetzer, and Stan Sarnocinski.

In addition to donating flags, the Patriotic Order Sons of America donates to the PV Student Loan Association, maintains war monuments, erects flag poles, builds benches in public locations, and maintains flag retirement boxes.
