Students of Catherine's Music Studio in Skippack presented two recitals to the residents of the Meadowood Retirement Community in Worcester on Dec. 16.
The 11 a.m. recital featured a variety of holiday songs on the piano and drums - from "We Three Kings" to "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth."
The 2:30 recital, photos of which are attached to this article, included performances from voice, strings and piano students.
Songs ranged from a young student performing "O Come Little Children" on the violin to Judy Winship singing "Ave Maria."
The later recital featured a performance from owner Catherine Offner, as she joined a quartet to perform "In the Bleak Midwinter."
While the studio as performed holiday shows over the past few years, this was the first time at Meadowood.
"It's a nice 'feel good' day with lots of holiday songs on many different instruments," said Offner. "And even some group sing-a-longs to get everyone into the holiday spirit."
The residents seemed to appreciated the visit.
"It's so nice to see these kinds of things here," one attendee said.
