Anthony Forbes, of Collegeville, better known by his artist name “Blkxera/ATF,” and Michael Schank, of Schwenksville, participated in the 2013 Lansdale Fun A Day.
The Lansdale Fun A Day, which invites artists from the Montgomery County area, was held Feb. 8. Over 15 artists showcased artwork at the event. Many of the artworks were the results of the artists’ participation in the National Fun A Day Challenge, where artists attempted to create art every day in January.
Blxera/ATF, an artist from Collegeville, used an Indian Ink Brush pen to produce artwork for the show. He said that it’s hard for artists to create under deadline, but greatly appreciated the opportunity to showcase his work and interact with the public at the art show.
“Every artist is ready for exposure at any moment,” he said.
Schank displayed several of his Photoshop illustrations for the event, including front-page cover art to the magazine “Scars.”
