Heather still remembers their first dance, “Hold on to the Night” at prom in 1996, and they spent their senior weeks looking for each other in Ocean City, Md. – they finally caught up to each other the night before the week ended, and they have been together ever since.

“We met when I was 17 years old and, that day on the beach, I knew,” Heather said.  “I knew that we would be together for the rest of our lives.

“He is everything that I have ever looked for in a man; kind, generous, funny, romantic, loyal, reliable, and hard working. He is also handsome and has the most beautiful hazel eyes, which change color according to what he is wearing,” said Heather, who also appreciates Harry’s handiness – his ability to “fix whatever is broken.”

According to Heather, Harry said that he knew she was the one the first time he saw her.

“Although it took me a bit longer to figure that out, it’s a feeling that is unmistakable,” Heather said.

“We have been through so many things over the past 17 years, more than many couples I know,” Heather said.  “We have three beautiful children together, and he works hard to allow me to stay home and raise them.

“Harry is my love, my friend, my everything.  With him, I truly am complete,” Heather said.
