It's Time for Battle of the Cupcakes

The entire community is invited to join in this contest to find the best cupcakes in the Valley.

It's cupcake-vs-cupcake in Perkiomen Valley's first Battle of the Cupcakes. The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at .

The theme, "Night at the Movies," offers both bakers and decorators a chance to compete in the following categories:

  • Cupcake Decor in a Mosaic - multiple cupcakes decorated together
  • Cupcake Decor Individual - single cupcakes decorated alike
  • Taste - for cupcakes made from scratch
  • Healthy- nutrition table required
  • Gluten-Free Cupcake

Submitted cupcakes are to be decorated in the theme of "Night at the Movies" and they must have a list of ingredients to be judged.

There are separate entry categories and requirements for students, adult/groups, sponsors, and schools. Businesses, bakeries, surrounding schools (such as Pope John Paul II High School, St. Eleanor School, Spring-Ford School District) are all welcome to enter the contest.

The public is invited to watch the competition, and cupcakes will be available for purchase following the judging.
