Moonlit Hayrides at Northern Star Farm

Moonlit hayrides at Northern Star Farm

Night time sharpens, heightens each sensation; darkness stirs and wakes imagination.  Silently the senses abandon their defenses.   Let the dream begin with Moonlit hayrides at nearby Northern Star Farm.  Celebrate fall differently this year.  Perfect for people of all ages, school and college students, families, neighborhoods, scout and church groups.  This is NOT a Haunted hayride.   All wagons have easy entry steps.

The above words from the song "The Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera, describe the mystery, romance and intrigue that enhance our activities in the darkness of the night,  night hayrides are no exception.

The following information and observations are based on past experiences, with many different people over the many years that we have been offering this unique and unusual fall classic and is being sent to everyone inquiring.

We  continue our popular "Moonlit" hayrides during the 2013 fall season.  As this is a family business and our staff is small, all of our activities throughout the year are by reservation only, with the exception of our weekend fall fest which runs from 9 to 5  both Sat and Sun throughout October.
Because of this, I ask all individuals inquiring, to have at least 20 people in your group or $200 minimum as these are are private parties, we will not have others waiting in line to fill out the wagons.

At a very reasonable $10.00/person (infants are free) this slow moving 40 minute hay ride out over our 230acres in which you are seated on hay bales, have the ability to observe the wild animals that inhabit this place, the ability to mix in a trip to the 5 acre corn maze, followed by a bonfire (s'more kits and sticks can be provided at a small additional charge).  Also, please consider the value alone of being at a nice place that is not a mob scene. You are welcome to bring food and drink to enjoy around the bonfire, but NOT ON THE RIDE...please.

Enough firewood will be provided for approximately one hour at the fire pit .  Hay bales are positioned around the fire pits for your seating comfort and convenience  ONLY, they are not intended to be thrown into the fire for added excitement.  We ask that you respect our instructions and our property.   Additionally, we do not provide child care or supervision; to the parents of children, this is your responsibility.  Bonfires on cool autumn evenings are a wonderful thing BUT, we all know that there is an element of danger with small children running around and or with adults who are not in control of their faculties.

One might ask, "what if I don't want to do the corn maze?" That's fine you don't have to, but the ride passes by and the individual price remains at $10.00/person even when you opt out of it.

Once you have given me the  "Okay", I will put you on my calendar, with the full expectation that you will arrive on the date and time being held for you with at least 20 people.

This is an excellent time to be thinking about this and hopefully booking it as I have flexibility in my schedule at this point.  The closer we get to the end of Sept. that will change.

Please remember, this NOT a haunted hayride.  It is as family friendly event.
