Community Update

I lasted a month or so at Advanced Dentistry - never going back! After the last 4 weeks of pain, I decided to go elsewhere to get a 2nd opinion - what do I find out??? The tooth they did a filling on (which I have had severe pain with for the last FOUR WEEKS) has a fracture that could possibly go all the way down to the ROOT of my tooth! I now have to make an emergency appointment with a specialist to see if we can save my tooth. Second? The tooth next to it (which was the ORIGINAL reason I went to Advanced Dentistry!) also has a fractured filling!!! So I now have to go back, have that filling removed and have a new filling done. I went back to them last week and all they could do for me was adjust my bite (which might I add, hurt SO bad without novacane, but after finding out the real reason for my pain.. why wouldn't it!?) and tell me to keep taking advil and come back in a week if I was still having problems. (by the way, the dentist I saw today was quite concerned that I had taken about 40 advil since you did my fillings and told me to alternate advil and tylenol - you said NOTHING of the sort!). Now we just need to hope I do not form an infection between now and my appointment with the specialist. Thank you so much for the last four painful weeks of my life.
