U2 Cover Band, 'Dig Into Journalism' Workshop Happening Wednesday in the Perk Valley

The Fairview Village County Fair and Carnival begins Wednesday at 1190 Valley Forge Road in Fairview Village.  Rides, food, a book sale, bake sale, attic treasure tent and more will be available at the event, which will be held from 6-10 p.m. nightly through Saturday.  Contact 610-584-8411 for more information.

Perkiomen Valley Patch Editor Brittany Tressler will hold a “Dig Into Journalism” workshop at the Perkiomen Valley Library in Schwenksville, beginning at 7 p.m.  Register at 610-287-8360.

The Skippack Summertime Concert Series Continues with U2 Nation, a U2 Tribute band.  The performance begins at 6:30 p.m. at 4059 Skippack Pike, across from Basta Pasta.  There will be activities for the whole family . Raindate is July 31.
