Woman Taken to Hospital Following Two-Car Crash in Trappe

Road remained open to traffic

Friendship Fire Co. Medic Rescue transported a woman to Phoenixville Hospital after her car collided with another vehicle at Ridge Pike and West Third Avenue in Trappe, Friday evening, Jan. 27.

At this time, it is believed that the injured woman was the car's only occupant. At least two people were in the other vehicle, a minivan.

One of the minivan's occupants refused EMS at the scene, according to Bob Greenwood of the Trappe Fire Co.

Contrary to earlier, unofficial reports, neither vehicle struck a pole.

Perkiomen Valley Patch will publish more details when they are available.

Pennsylvania State Police, Skippack EMS and Trappe Fire Co. firefighters and fire police were also at the scene.

Curious as to why a Skippack Ambulance was needed in Trappe Borough?

Hi, Chris,
Trappe Ambulance was responding to another call in the area when this crash occurred, so other companies came to assist.
