Downtown Skippack Holding 'Spring Fling' This Weekend
Skippack Village will celebrate the upcoming warm weather with specials, giveaways and events Friday through Sunday.
At least 23 Skippack Village businesses are participating in the Fifth Annual Spring Fling on Skippack Pike this weekend, sponsored by the Merchants of Skippack Association with specials, giveaways and community events.
Floral and Hardy of Skippack will hold several SpringFling workshops throughout the weekend, including “Ready, Set, Garden,” which will help shoppers get their bodies ready for the gardening season, and “Roses for Beginners.”
Residents may also bring two hand tools to Floral and Hardy of Skippack to be sharpened for free.
On Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon, Univest, MOYO Yoga, Courier News Weekly and the Merchants of Skippack Association will host a Shredding Extravaganza.
After 5 Gifts will hold a Martini Class on Friday night at 6 p.m., and live music will be performed at Hotel Fiesole on Friday and Saturday.
Elsewhere in the township, the Skippack Lions will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at Palmer Park, weather permitting, and Skippack Township is holding a free "Anything With a Plug" recycling event, also at Palmer Park.
