Update: Man Hurt After Riding on Car Hood
Driver charged with reckless driving
An 18-year-old man was injured late Tuesday night after he fell from the hood of a vehicle, which then ran him over and trapped him underneath it.
Pennsylvania State Police said Sean Hendershot fell from the hood of a 2005 Chevy Cavalier while it was in motion on Legat Lane in Skippack Township. After falling from the hood, Hendershot was run over by the front driver side wheel of the car, which was driven by 19-year-old Gregory Leflar of Collegeville.
Hendershot was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital by medical helicopter with what the police described as "non-life-threatening injuries."
The accident took place shortly before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Leflar was charged with reckless driving.

An 18-year-old man was reportedly injured late Tuesday night after becoming trapped under a vehicle in Skippack Township.
According to an incident status page maintained by the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, the incident took place shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Legat Lane, off Skippack Pike in the Harleysville section of the township.
Breaking News Network, a service that monitors emergency responder radio transmissions, reported that the man was to be transported from the scene by medical helicopter after he was extricated from beneath the vehicle. His condition was unknown early Wednesday.
