Registration Edge Grows for Democrats in MontCo
As of the October voter registration deadline, Democrats registered more than 8,500 voters since the 2012 Primary Election – Republicans registered roughly 3,500.
While challenger Mitt Romney is in a dead heat with President Barack Obama in some polls, Montgomery County voter registration numbers tell a different tale.
In the six-month registration window between the 2012 Primary and General Elections, the Democratic Party gained 8,639 registered voters, while the Republican Party brought in 3,546. Of the 17,893 voters who registered in that time period, 5,708 of them registered in various other parties.
As of the October voter registration deadline, the Democratic Party had 255,227 registrants and the Republican Party had 215,205 out of 554,870 voters in Montgomery County.
Just prior to the 2012 Primary Election, there were 246,588 registered Democrats and 211,659 registered Republicans out of 536,977 total voters in the county.

Most of the Dem's registered were named Mickey Mouse. Many of those registered, do not end up on the voter lists because they are fraudulent. The same is happening in Delaware County.

Yes, once very solidly Red Montgomery County has gradually been turning quite Blue, as city dwellers discover the rewards of our Republican-built suburban utopia with great schools and low taxes. They would morph our conservative Montgo into the very thing places they fled.
Which means that to help put conservatives into offices, Montgo's Republicans cannot afford to sit out elections anymore. And Republican Committee Persons must take responsibility for making that happen.

Hear, hear, Jack! We have a bunch of renters who have migrated to our better schools from Philly. I want to know when they are going to change the rules so renters must contribute to the schools and other amenities. See you at the poll!

when Our president came to NJ last week to check out the devastation I saw where the republicans were quite upset saying Governor Christie was sucking up to him.
They also said if he thinks they are going to back him for the nomination for president in 2016, he has no chance.
In essence what they were doing in actuality was admitting they knew Romney can't win.. truth be told! Can we find out what the deficit was after Bush's first term and the war in full force? This would be very interesting to find out...eh?

Hi, Candy. Here is info regarding the debt and deficit. Many folks confuse these 2 things. The deficit is the difference between what the government takes in in taxes and what what it spends annually. The national debt is a cumulative number, which increases over time by the deficits and interest we pay on that debt. As you can see, during Bush's 8 years, the debt rose by approx. $5.7 Trillion. the highest deficit during Bush's 8 years was $459 Billion. During President Obama's 46 months in office,the debt has risen by approx. $5.5 Trillion. Each year of the President's term thus far, the deficit has been over $1 trillion.

Candy, I wouldn't worry about the deficit Obama inherited from Bush. You should worry about the one he will inherit should you successfully re-elect him tomorrow.
RINO (Republican In Name Only). Chris Christie gave the worst RNC keynote speech in history, and if he thought hugging Obama would gain his beloved state 150 million extra disaster dollars, he hugged the wrong Presidential candidate.
You can build a thousand bridges and they still won't call you Christie the Bridgebuilder. But just hug one Democrat 4 days before an Election and see what they'll call you forever. RINO.

Jack, the people didn't excuse Obama from is duties he is now obligated to do anything he has not addressed. I am hearing that Hillary is leaving him in January and that to me is a BIG Problem. We don't have a person that is publicly related that could fill this spot. Can't help but think that she is re-running for her spot again and may just win. JMO. The resources are getting far and few between to handle the hospitality between foreign countries and ourselves. How are we going to replace this loss with a trusting sole? That will probably our next debate....
