Patch Poll: Best Takeout
Which restaurant is the best when you need to pay and dash?
Welcome to PV Patch's first weekly "best of" poll, in which you get to name your favorite community spots.
We're kicking off with the best takeout place. What's your saving grace when it's mealtime and you don't feel like cooking?
Our poll's featured spots are Anthony's Pizza, Divino's Pizza, Skippack Village Italian Market, Liu Garden.
Make sure to leave a comment about why this spot is your favorite, and please tell us if we forgot your best PV eatery.
The poll is open until 9 a.m. Friday, and we'll declare a winner by noon. Ties are broken by adding in the positive comments.
You can also vote for a takeout place in a neighboring Patch; visit sister sites such as Limerick Patch, Phoenixville Patch, Lansdale Patch and Norristown Patch.

Frank's is no longer in business. But they were good while they were around.

Piece of advice to the editors - if you want this publication to be taken seriously, then you can't include 2 out-of-business restaurants on this list. If you are going to take the time to publish this, then please put some effort into making it accurate !!! You should be quite embarassed.

Also Joe's Pizza as linked to is Johnny's Pizza in Spring Mount. There is now a Joe's Pizza next to the BP in Rahns, which was Frank's Pizza before.

I like Palermo's Pizza in Trappe the best. For Chinese take out, it is either Jasmine in Trappe (crabcakes are delicious) or Veeko in Royersford (the best all around).

My opinion of the best take out sandwiches in the area are from Giovanni's Italian Deli on Ridge Pike in Collegeville. They also have delicious frozen pasta's and sauce for a quick meal!
