Mark Marino in Federal Custody
The former Skippack Board of Supervisors chair has begun serving his 13-month sentence for filing false tax returns
Mark Marino, former Skippack supervisor, reported to Federal Correctional Institution - Schuylkill to beging serving his 13-month sentence for filing false tax returns, an article from The Reporter states.
Marino was in federal custody Monday, as was required, the article continues. The Minersville prison is a medium-security facility for male inmates; it also has "an adjacent minimum-security satellite prison camp," according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website.
Marino must also pay restitution and fines totaling nearly $80,000, the article continues.

Sorry to see Mark in stripes swinging a sledgehammer. A good guy taken the wrong road with the Feds. His guilty plea probably bought him less time in Folsom. I only hope that he is able to make lemonade out of these lemons and regain a productive life.
