Update: Collegeville Dog Found
After being missing for over a month, Draggin's owner just picked him up from the SPCA.
A five-week search effort has come an end as Draggin, the missing Collegeville dog, was picked up on Friday afternoon at the Perkiomenville SPCA by his owner.
According to owner Katie Lear, Draggin was found in a man's fenced-in back yard in Collegeville. The man then brought Draggin to the SPCA, who notified Lear.
"Bring Draggin Home" Facebook page reports that the dog has been checked out by the vet and only has a few ticks and some fleas after being on the run for five weeks.
"A few good meals and some rest and he will be just fine," the page said.
Lear plans to continue posting updates in the "Bring Draggin Home" page, she is planning a meet and greet tomorrow with Draggin at 199 Bechtel Road in Collegeville, and will hold event at the Oaks dog park later in the month.
Dozens of local volunteers joined together to help find Draggin - by creating a Facebook page, organizing group searches, spreading flyers and more.
The search is chronicled in the posts below.

Draggin is still missing. According to his website, someone reported that a lady was going home to home on 12/28 at The Meadows off Rt. 113 in Skippack. She found a dog small dog, and was asking if anyone knew where he lived. Someone from the Meadows later saw a flier, and believes that the dog she had was Draggin. Graggin's been missing since 12/3. If possible, can we move his picture to the top page again in case the person who may have Draggin sees his picture? We need to help this little guy find his way back home. Thanks so much!

Thanks to all who were keeping an eye out for this dog! So many volunteers from all over stepped up to help bring this dog home. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Perkiomenville SPCA who alerted the owner immediately upon the dog's arrival. It took a village to "Bring Draggin Home" but we did it!!
