Family and friends pay tribute to the graduating class as the regular season winds down

Come this June, the team will be saying goodbye to the following 10 players, some of whom have been playing hockey since their middle school years: Zane and Brady Himsworth, Nick Bisacquino, Dustin Jagiela, Alex Franke, Eric Hahn, Anthony Venezia, Allie Klipp, Colin Anderson and Jonathan Collins.

Each senior Viking had a moment in the spotlight as he or she did a solo skate across the ice after listening to dedications written by family members and read by PV mom Kim Collins.

"Will we ever forget the slap shot heard 'round the world in the middle school championship game?" wrote Brady Himsworth's parents.

"Well, we certainly know you love the game of hockey, but you also have a love and compassion for those who are different, less fortunate and trying their best," stated the dedication from Dustin Jagiela's family.

"Stay strong, focused and always believe in yourself. We'll be rooting for you all the way," the Collins family wrote for Jonathan.

In turn, the seniors had messages to their underclassmen teammates.

"Keep strong and carry on. Don't let losses hold you back," Allie Kipp wrote.

"Be sure to thank your parents and coaches, without them we wouldn't be playing this great sport together," stated Colin Anderson.
